Body mass index is a measure of body fat based on weight and height that applies to men and women.

BMI = kg/m²

where m2 is their height in meters squared and kg is a person's weight in kilograms respectively.

A BMI of 25.0 or more is considered overweight, 18.5 to 24.9. BMI is considered Healthy applies to most adults 18-65 years.
