Conversion of VA to amps

Conversion of volt-amps (VA) to single phase amps (A) conversion and VA to three phase amps conversion.

Single Phase in volt-amps (VA) to amps(A)

Current in amps (A) is equal to the product of volt-amps (VA) is divided by the voltage in volts(V) respectively.

I(A) = S(VA) / V(V)

Three Phase in volt-amps (VA) to amps(A)

Current in amps (A) is equal to the volt-amps (VA) divided by the square root of 3times of voltage in volts(line to line voltage)(V) respectively.

I(A) = S(VA) / (√3 × VL-L(V) )
