Conversion of amps to kw

Conversion of single phase volts (V) to kilo-watts (KW), three phase volts (V) to kw conversion and Direct current in volts (V) to kilo-watts (KW) respectively.

DC in volts (V) to Kilo-watts (KW)

The power in kilowatts (KW) is equal to the product of voltage in volts (V) and current in amps (A) is divided by 1000.

P(kW) = V(V) × I(A) / 1000

Single Phase in volts (V) to Kilo-watts (KW)

The power in kilowatts (KW) is equal to the product of power factor, current in amps (A) and power factor divided by 1000 respectively.

P(kW) = PF × I(A) × V(V) / 1000

Three Phase in volts (V) to Kilo-watts (KW)

The power in kilowatts (KW) is equal to the product of square root of 3times of power factor, current in amps (A) ,power factor and voltage in (line to line voltage) divided by 1000 respectively.

P(kW) = √3 × PF × I(A) × VL-L(V) / 1000
